Qld man charged over social media grooming

A Queensland man has been charged with using social media to groom a teenage girl before indecently assaulting her.

Police say the 23-year-old Sunshine Coast resident allegedly made contact with the 15-year-old girl over the internet on Sunday.

He has been charged with one count of using the internet to procure a child under 16 and four counts of indecent treatment of a child.

He is due to face Caloundra Magistrates Court on April 17.
