Qld man charged over 1998 jail murder

A Queensland man has been charged with murdering a jail inmate 16 years ago.
The 41-year-old from Crestmead, south of Brisbane, is alleged to have killed a 25-year-old man at the Wacol correctional centre on March 26, 1998.
He has been charged with one count of murder and will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday.
