Qld cops probe suspicious house fire

A fire that substantially damaged a house north of Brisbane is being treated as suspicious.

Police say the blaze caused significant damage to the home at Deception Bay on Monday night.

Two rooms and a carport were damaged, but no one was home at the time.

Officers say they're treating the fire as suspicious.
