Qld bikie associate on trafficking charge

A man with alleged links to the Bandidos bikie gang has been charged with drug trafficking on the Gold Coast.

The man, 26, was one of 10 people charged in February as police targeted an alleged multi-million dollar money laundering and investment fraud racket.

Further police investigations led to him being charged on Monday with trafficking a dangerous drug on the Gold Coast between December 2013 and March this year.

Police will allege he was a close associate and former member of the Bandidos.

He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on July 1.
