Pyne blasts critics of climate sceptic Bjorn Lomborg

Christopher Pyne has told critics of a taxpayer-funded research centre featuring sceptical environmentalist Bjorn Lomborg to take a cold shower.

The education minister says Dr Lomborg is not a climate change denier, and the University of Western Australia's economic-focused Australia Consensus Centre would ensure academic freedom.

"Those people who are getting themselves into such a lather on this need to take a cold shower and recognise that the government funds many centres ... with different views to those academics," he told Sky News.
