Pub staff suffer shock in Sydney hold-up

Staff at a pub in Sydney's west have been treated for shock after the premises was robbed by three masked bandits armed with machetes and a baseball bat.

The armed trio entered the hotel in Mount Druitt about 10.20pm (AEST) on Tuesday, threatening staff and demanding cash.

A female employee handed over money and the men fled.

Paramedics treated two staff members for shock, but no one was physically injured.

The three thieves are described as of Pacific Islander or Maori appearance, in their mid-20s, and were wearing balaclavas.
