Protesters call Treasurer Scott Morrison a 'disgusting racist'

Treasurer Scott Morrison was confronted by a group of protesters today at a news conference who called him a "disgusting racist".

Mr Morrison was speaking in Adelaide this afternoon regarding the fallout between US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull when four women began shouting at him.

"You disgusting racist," one of the women can be heard saying.

The former immigration minister was escorted to a nearby vehicle as the woman continued to shout at him.

Mr Morrison recently came under fire after he declined to criticise Donald Trump's controversial executive order to ban travel to the US from seven Muslim-majority countries.

"They've had an election and the president has implemented what he said he would do," he told radio 2GB last week.
