Protein water recalled from Chemist Warehouse due to bacterial contamination
Consumers are being warned not to drink a protein water from a popular Australian chemist chain due to possible bacterial contamination.
Performance Inspired Protein Water Ready 2 Go will be removed from Chemist Warehouse shelves due to microbial contamination in certain batches.
"Food products contaminated with Aureobasidium melanogenum may cause illness if consumed," Food Standards Australia and New Zealand said in a statement.

"The product has been available for sale in Chemist Warehouse stores nationally."
Both the blueberry lemonade and fruit punch pow 500ml flavours are being recalled.
"Consumers should not ingest this product," the recall read.
"Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice."
Anyone who bought the product is able to get a full refund.
