Beer recalled over excessive amount of alcohol
A popular party-sized beer on Costco shelves has been recalled due to an excessive amount of alcohol.
Loophole Brewing Company has issued a warning over the five-litre party keg of Pacific Ale marked with dates Pkd 13/10/25 BB 13/10/26 and Pkd 15/10/25 BB 15/10/26.
The ale has undergone secondary fermentation, meaning it now contains excess alcohol and carbonation, which could cause illness or injury.

The affected product has been sold in Costco stores in NSW, the Australian Capital Territory, Victoria and Western Australia.
Anyone who has bought it is urged not to drink or open it and to safely dispose of it.
They can contact Loophole Brewing Company directly for safe disposal instructions and reimbursement.
