NSW prison guard faces more sex assault charges
A NSW prison guard is facing almost 40 counts of sexual abuse of female jail inmates.
Wayne Astill, 63, is accused of sexually abusing six female inmates at the Dillwynia Correctional Centre in Windsor on numerous occasions between 2016 and 2018.
He was originally charged in February with 18 counts of sexual assault and other offences, allegedly committed against two female inmates between 2016 and 2017.

The 19 charges made at Penrith local Court today include aggravated sexual assault victim under authority of offender (x8), aggravated indecent assault (x14), aggravated incite act of indecency (x4), misconduct in public office (x8), intimidation (x2) and introducing contraband to correctional centre.
He's suspended from work and investigations are continuing.
