Pregnant Meghan Markle will not be attending the funeral with Harry after she was advised by her doctors not to travel.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions in the UK, only 30 people will be able to attend the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral.

Harry will meet with other members of the Royal Family for the funeral at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle at 3pm on Saturday.

"Although the ceremonial arrangements are reduced, the occasion will still celebrate and recognise the duke's life and his more than 70 years of service to the Queen, the UK and the Commonwealth," a palace spokesman said on Saturday while speaking on condition of anonymity in line with policy.

Prince Philip's coffin is resting in the private chapel at Windsor Castle, where it will remain until the day of the funeral.

The Duke of Edinburgh took part in planning his funeral and its focus on family was in accordance with his wishes.
