Wild brawl between pedestrian and cyclist at Prahran caught on film

A wild brawl between two men at Prahran in Melbourne's south-east has led to one of them being detained by police.

Police said one of the men was riding his bike along Chapel Street when he was assaulted by the other man at around 6pm.

In footage captured from near the fight scene, the two men are seen circling each other and throwing punches at each other in the middle of the road.

A number of cars are seen backed up behind the fight, which is quickly brought under control by uniformed police officers.

At least four officers wearing hi-vis vests drag the man to the ground and place him in handcuffs.

Police said the victim does not want to take any further action.
