Police are searching for a driver who fled last night after crashing a $250,000 Porsche in southeast Perth.

The car was written off after dropping three metres off a wall on Bow River Crescent in Burswood around 10pm, destroying much of the vehicle’s front end.

The street is in a new housing estate close to Perth's Crown Casino, with the 2010 Porsche Panamera crashing nose-first into a garden bed attached to the casino's car park.

The Porsche's licence plate and parts of its front bumper broke off during the crash, with some pieces landing up to 30m away.

Some pieces of debris hit a car parked nearby, causing some damage to the side of the vehicle.

A police spokesperson said officers spoke with a passenger in the car, who did not suffer serious injuries in the crash.
