Porn-sharing website targeting Australian schoolgirls back online

A pornography website targeting female students from across Australia is back up and running, with more names and schools added.

The original site, which sparked outrage over its objectification of school girls, was taken down by authorities before resurfacing again late last week.

Members have since added a further 19 schools and residential colleges to the "wanted" list, encouraging others to put forward suggested girls.

Users post schools or individual names to the site, which then prompts others to go on the "hunt" for sexually-explicit images of those people.

The Australian Federal Police (AFP) said it was "aware the website encouraging users to upload explicit images of young women has re-emerged online".

Police across Australia are working across jurisdictions to "determine the appropriate course of action", AFP said.

The AFP encouraged parents and educators to "talk to their children about the importance of respectful relationships".

"Giving young people strategies to say 'no' to inappropriate requests or to report suspicious behaviour are paramount to keeping them safe from harm," the statement read.
