Police suspect Sydney car fire was deliberately lit

Police believe a fire that destroyed a car in Sydney’s south-west overnight was deliberately lit.

Fire crews arrived at Liverpool Mega Centre at Warwick Farm around midnight to find a Ford Focus engulfed by flames.

Crews quickly extinguished the blaze and no one was injured.

Police are trying to contact the owner of the car.
