L-plate driver Sevanah Lang, 16, and her 39-year-old mother Kelly Landers died in the crash on Tuesday afternoon.

The Ford Laser being driven by Ms Lang along Shades Creek Road, Molong, collided with a Subaru Outback driven by a mother, with an infant and baby as passengers.

Ms Lang and her mother died at the scene.

Police are now seeking to talk to a truck driver seen in the area at the time of the accident.

The vehicle was described as a white Kenworth prime mover, towing a low-loader trailer with a green tractor on the back.

It is believed the driver may have witnessed the collision.

Molong Central School students have paid tribute to Ms Lang and Ms Landers, leaving a floral tribute at the scene of the crash.
