Police searching for man wanted on child sex offences

Police are hunting for a middle-aged man wanted for child sex offences who they believe has travelled from NSW to North Queensland.
The cops are appealing for assistance from the community to locate the man, from Lighting Ridge in NSW, but have warned the public to not approach the man as he may be in the possession of guns.
Joseph Lowe, 51, is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 170cm tall, with a thin build, light brown hair and hazel eyes.
Police believe Lowe may have travelled to North Queensland.
If sighted, the public should contact Triple Zero immediately and not approach Lowe.
