Police raid Melbourne clubhouse after bikie tried to charge down officer

Victorian police have raided the headquarters of a bikie gang in Melbourne after a member tried to run over an officer.

Officers executed a search warrant at the Dandenong chapter of the Rebels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang just after 6am (AEDT).

The raid was part of an ongoing investigation into an incident in Noble Park earlier this month when a motorcyclist drove towards a police officer at an RBT stop on the Princes Highway.

The officer managed to jump out of the way and was not injured.

No arrests were made during this morning’s operation but CCTV footage was seized.
