Three officers injured in Sydney pursuit

Three police officers have been injured during a pursuit in Sydney’s southwest.

Officers from the South West Metropolitan Region Enforcement Squad were chasing a vehicle in Sadleir near Liverpool at 11.40pm last night when their car crashed into a telegraph pole.

One officer suffered a suspected fractured shoulder, another suffered head injuries and the third had minor cuts.

They were taken to Liverpool Hospital for treatment.

An investigation is underway.
