Police investigating Getax bribe claim

Federal police have confirmed they are investigating allegations Australian phosphate company Getax bribed members of the Nauru government.

The Nauru police commissioner previously has denied that was the case.

Australian Federal Police commissioner Andrew Colvin told a Senate estimates hearing on Monday his officers were investigating any breaches of Australian law but he declined to name who was the subject of inquiries.
