Firebug caught on CCTV setting 4WD on fire at Seaton

Police are searching for a firebug they believe is responsible for two car fires in Adelaide overnight.

Officers were called to a home in Grange Road at Seaton after reports of a 4WD being on fire in the driveway at 2.30am.

CCTV shows a person wearing a hoodie pour some petrol on the vehicle before setting it on fire and running away down the street.

The fire was extinguished and no one was injured.

Then at 3.30am firefighters were called to a second car fire at Wolgarra Street in Salisbury North after reports of a ute on fire.

A witness reported seeing a man run from the scene. That fire was also extinguished and police are treating it as suspicous.
