Girl approached by stranger while walking home from school in Perth
Police are investigating reports a 12-year-old girl was approached by a man while walking home from school in Perth on Monday.
Detectives said the child was walking along Axminster Road in Warnbro at about 2.40pm when a man got out of a car and walked towards her.
It is alleged the man grabbed her shirt before the girl was able to break free from his grip and run away.

The man got into a silver sedan and left the area.
WA Police's Child Abuse Squad is investigating the incident and asking residents for CCTV.
Police do not currently have a description of the man or the vehicle.
Detective Sergeant Chris McDonald praised the girl for reporting the incident.
"She was very courageous in the circumstances," he said.
