Machete-wielding man storms Adelaide store
A machete-wielding man has stormed a North Adelaide convenience store and demanded money from a worker.
The lone female employee was about to close the store just before 10pm when a hooded man with his face covered ran into the Food Park convenience store on Melbourne Street.
"Money in the bag, money in the bag, put the money in the bag," the man said.

"Shut up," the worker replied.
"Put the money in the bag," the man repeated.
"There's cameras," the worker responded.
The staff member opened the register, stepped back and remained calm.
"You can take it," she said.
"Don't do anything, I just work here, I'm not doing anything."
The man is believed to have fled with about $800 in cash.
Business owner Shyam Shah said it was a huge blow for the store.
"For small businesses it's very, very, very hard these days with an expensive world out there," he said.

Police are still looking for the suspect. 9News
Shah said he was relieved his employee wasn't injured.
"She's strong, she's done a great job but yes she is stressed and very freaked out at this moment," he said.
Chief Superintendent John De Candia said violent crimes have the potential to leave a lasting psychological impact.
"Just like everyone else, they're going to work, you expect to be safe at work and you want to go home to your family" De Candia said.
"So it does have a significant impact on people for these types of offences."
Police are still looking for the suspect.
He is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, about 160 centimetres tall, and a slim build.
He was wearing a black jacket, pants and shoes as well as white gloves.
