Police hunting attacker who bashed Perth grandparents

A grandfather is spending his fourth night in hospital after he was bashed in his Perth home.
The 71-year-old was left with serious head, facial and spinal injuries when he and his wife were attacked by an intruder at their Oakford property early on Sunday morning.
Today police released photographs of the man’s head wounds.

They also released an composite image of a man believed responsible for the brutal attack.
The assailant is believed to been in his thirties and of a medium build and height.
Police are also looking for a black ford ute which was seen in the area at the time of invasion.
Neighbours are urged to check their CCTV or dash cams to see if they captured the car.
