UPDATE: Victorian police catch sex offender

A serious sex offender on the run has been arrested after a member of the public tipped off police this morning.
The man, 26, was re-captured by police this morning after being on the run since Friday.
He failed to report to his home on Friday, sparking a major manhunt.

A member of the public recognised him at the Narre Warren railway station in Melbourne's south east about 8.30am and called police.
Officers arrived and arrested him a short time later.
It is expected he will be remanded in custody.
