Police hunt for ‘cat burglar’ captured on CCTV in Newcastle armed robbery

Police have released CCTV images as they hunt for a “cat burglar” who held up a supermarket near Newcastle last week.

Just before midnight on Monday December 29, a man entered the supermarket on Wilsons Road dressed in lycra and threatened two employees with a knife.

He fled the scene with cash.

No one was injured.

The “cat burglar” was wearing a black body stocking and black gloves with blue finger tips.
