Police concerned for Bayswater girl missing since early September

Police are appealing for help to find a Melbourne teenager who has been missing since early September.

Jasmine Lea Thomson, 16, was last seen by her family in Bayswater, in Melbourne's east, in early September and has not made contact with her family since then, police said.

Authorities said they are concerned for Jasmine’s welfare due to her age, the length of time she has been missing and who she may be associating with.

She is known to frequent the Bayswater and Knox areas.

Jasmine is described as about 160cm tall, with a slim to medium build and hazel eyes.
