A second man has been charged with murder after a body was found down an embankment at Gympie, north-west of the Sunshine Coast, earlier this month.
Daniel Baumgart, 38, was arrested yesterday after trying to flee from officers at Mackay Harbour.
He was taken to Mackay Watchhouse, where he was charged with count each of murder, assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed and wilful damage.

Mr Baumgart had been wanted for questioning over the alleged murder of Michael Hartley, 43, who's body was found in a ditch on a property near Ross Creek.
Police allege he was assaulted during a fight at Maryborough on November 1.

Mr Baumgart is expected to face court later today.
A 36-year-old Maryborough man has also been charged with murder.
