A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after a police car collided with him on the Sydney Harbour Bridge yesterday afternoon.

Dashcam video shared with 2GB's Ben Fordham shows the moment the police van appeared to change lanes into the path of the motorcyclist.

The rider was thrown to the road at about 3:25pm.
