Police ask for help to find young girl last seen at Bris shopping centre

Police are appealing for help from the public to find a missing 16-year-old Brisbane girl.

The girl, from Sherwood in the city's southwest, was last seen on Sunday at a shopping centre on Moggill Road in Indooroopilly but has not made contact with her family since.

Police are concerned as the behaviour is out of character for the girl.

She is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 175cm tall, has a medium complexion and dark brown hair.

The girl was last seen wearing a fast food store uniform – black pants and a red shirt.
