Police have charged a man who allegedly exposed himself to a number of women on the Bay Run, in Sydney's inner west.

The 29-year-old was taken into police custody at a home on Lawrence Street in Freshwater, on the Northern Beaches, at 1.15pm today.

It's alleged he approached more than three women in the Lilyfield area between January 31 and February 17, and indecently exposed himself.
