Police have appealed for public help over the murder of Melbourne sex worker Tracy Connelly on the first anniversary of her death.
Ms Connelly’s body was found in a van in St Kilda last year.
As friends hold a candlelight vigil in her honour, she has been remembered as a warm, caring woman.

Detectives wish to speak with a man seen on CCTV nearby and the driver of a Ford XR ute spotted in the area.
Police insist that neither are suspects.
The investigation continues.
