Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull will meet with business, community and union leaders to discuss economic growth opportunities.

This week's meetings come off the back of the national reform summit in Sydney in August, which aimed to develop of a consensus reform agenda free from political input.

Mr Turnbull said he would hear the shared reform priorities of the represented groups.

"To secure and enhance our prosperity, we must be more productive, competitive and innovative," he told AAP.

The summit was a "rare opportunity" to achieve consensus on the nation's most pressing economic and social reform issues, he said.

The prime minister wants to build on the key priorities of the summit and develop a practical set of reforms to create jobs.

"Our government is focused on the opportunities arising from technological disruption and in creating an environment for strong, innovative industries to grow," he said.
