PM Abbott stands by no cuts promise

Prime Minister Tony Abbott says he stands by all of the coalition's commitments made before the 2013 election.
Opposition Leader Bill Shorten asked Mr Abbott in question time whether he stood by his promise not to cut funding to education, health, the ABC, SBS or pensions or change the GST.
"If there is one lesson that members opposite should have learned from the experience of the previous term of parliament is you cannot say one thing before an election and do something different afterwards," Mr Abbott told parliament.
