AAP
Tanya Plibersek has gazumped her leader at a joint press conference with Bill Shorten by putting a stop to questions about anything other than the execution of Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran.
The federal Labor leader appeared willing to answer questions from reporters on opposition policy about the recognition of Palestine and possibly same-sex marriage when Ms Plibersek interrupted him.
"Sorry, I don't think today is the day for these other questions," she said in Melbourne on Wednesday before Mr Shorten concurred.
