Plane investigation 'pathetic': Hanson

Pauline Hanson says she's frustrated the electoral commission has not yet concluded an investigation into the One Nation party's use of a plane.

However, the One Nation leader said the commission had used back-channels to say there was no issue.

Senator Hanson insists the Jabiru aircraft, which once bore One Nation signage and has been serviced at least once using party funds, has "nothing to do with the party".

She confirmed last year Victorian businessman Bill McNee had "got the plane for (her chief of staff) James Ashby" and it had never come through the party office as a donation.

She told Sky News on Thursday the issue was around how the plane had been declared.

"The electoral commission solicitor, through someone associated with the party, said there is no issue here," she said.

However, she added the probe had not concluded.

"For an organisation as big as the AEC, who have not come to a decision for more than a year, it's pathetic," she said.
