Domino's customer pulls gun on employee over disagreement on pizza discount

Chilling CCTV has been played to a Cairns court, showing the moment a disgruntled Domino's customer held a gun to the head of a young worker.

Phillip Willich, 53, was angry after he called the Smithfield store in October 2015 and was told he wouldn’t get a pizza discount because he didn't have a voucher.

He then drove to the store and told the 25-year-old worker to go outside before he cocked a gun to his head.

The weapon wasn't loaded, but the court heard the victim wasn't aware of that at the time.

Willich taunted the man for four terrifying minutes, at one point forcing him to his knees.

Willich eventually walks away, leaving the employee physically uninjured.

His victim suffers from ongoing post-traumatic stress following the ordeal.

The builder was yesterday sentenced to three years’ jail, of which he'll serve 12 months.
