Pizza Hut brings back the traditional family restaurant

Pizza Hut has opened its second 'concept store' in Sydney as it brings back the 'traditional'  family restaurant.

The eatery at Marsden Park, in the city's west, will be among 100 to open around the country.

While 'dine in' Pizza Huts were replaced by takeaway stores in the late 1990s, the company's director of innovation,Matt Sawyer, told 9NEWS they've responded to public demand.

"People wanted the dining back, we heard it on social media, people were calling us up, (asking) when are you opening these stores again?" he said.

“This restaurant combines the things Australians have always loved about Pizza Hut with our vibrant modern casual dining culture."

'The Works' deal and dessert hut will make a comeback at the new restaurants.
