'You're all piss and wind': Peta Credlin unleashes tirade on Sky News panel
Former adviser to Tony Abbott and Sky News panellist Peta Credlin has unloaded on her fellow commentators during a live cross where she labelled them "all piss and wind".
When Sky News political reporter Laura Jayes speculated that Peter Dutton would take over from Malcolm Turnbull as leader Credlin became irritated, suggesting she would know before anyone else.
"Can I just really be frank here," Credlin interjected, singling out her colleagues one by one.
"Journos, journos, journos and a Labour outsider, no one is going to tell you in the Liberal Party what is really going on.
"They are more likely, the conservatives, to tell me and I think you are all piss and wind."
Sensing where the conversation was going, Sky News Host Paul Murray quickly threw to an adbreak.
"Thankyou… let's take a break here on Paul Murray Live," the host interjected.
Credlin has long had a reputation of being a tireless firebrand, having closely advised Tony Abbott as his Chief of Staff during his tenure as Prime Minister.
Her influence was so great that several media outlets speculated that she was the true driving force behind many of Abbott's policies and deals.
Credlin left Parliament house when Tony Abbott was rolled in favour of current PM Malcolm Turnbull, after the Liberal Party looked to cut the damage from a disastrous 30 consecutive Newspolls in 2015.
She joined Sky News Australia in May 2016 as a political commentator and regularly writes forShare a tip-off, video or photo with us
