Woman sexually assaulted walking along Perth beach path

A manhunt is underway in Perth’s north after a woman was sexually assaulted on a beach path.

The woman was walking from the Mullaloo beach carpark at around 5am yesterday when she was approached by a naked man.

It is alleged the man dragged the woman to the ground and sexually assaulted her.

The victim told police the man did not speak to the woman during the attack and fled on foot afterwards.

The alleged attacker has been described described as 18 to 25 years old with brown skin and hair and an athletic build, and no facial hair.

Detectives spent the day scouring the scene for evidence.
