Perth stepbrothers in machete attack

A fight between stepbrothers in Perth took a serious turn when one of them attacked the other with a machete.

Police say the siblings had been drinking at a Cannington home, in Perth's southern suburbs, before the fight broke out on Tuesday night.

One of the men, aged 36, is in Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries.

His 46-year-old stepbrother has been charged with aggravated grievous bodily harm and is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
