Police arrest man over stabbing after 40km manhunt in Perth
A manhunt in Perth's southern suburbs has ended 40 kilometres from where a woman was stabbed yesterday with the arrest of a suspect.
Police arrested a man this morning after a woman aged in her 40s was stabbed on Paw Lane in Beeliar yesterday.
The woman was found in her garage with stab wounds to her stomach.

She was taken to Fiona Stanley Hospital where she underwent surgery and is in critical but stable condition.
A crime scene was spread across multiple streets, including Tindal Avenue, McLaren Avenue, and Formosa Park.
Detectives overnight focused on the Yellowtail Grove bushland, following a trail of blood.
Police were provided with security vision of a man casually walking away from the site of the attack.
