Man, 19, charged with murder after fatal stabbing in Perth home

A man has been charged with the alleged murder of an 18-year-old man who was found stabbed inside a home in Perth.

Emergency services were called to a home on Gladstone Road in Rivervale about 5.10pm on Saturday.

The 18-year-old was found injured with what appeared to be a stab wound.

He was taken to Royal Perth Hospital, where he later died.

Homicide Squad detectives began investigating and were speaking to a man, a 19-year-old from Swan View, who was known to the victim.

They have since charged him with murder.

The man will face Perth Magistrates Court today.
