Perth street descends into chaos as groups clash in city's east
Chaos has erupted on a suburban street in Perth's east, following reports of a man with gun making threats.
Tensions between two groups boiled over around 9.30am, at a home on Loton Avenue in Midland.
Neighbours said they heard gunshots amid yelling and windows being smashed.

"The guy put a gun in the air and then he shot him here," a member of one group, Robin Taylor said.
It's alleged a 31-year-old man was shot in the leg during an incident at the property last night around 8pm.
9News understands a weapon was seized.
"One man did get a graze from what we believe may have been a firearm pellet," Inspector Paul Bolt said.

Police swarmed the area and raided the home, seizing a number of items from the property but no gun was found.
"There's been a few incidents on the street during the day, people from the two parties have returned here and they've caused some problems," Inspector Bolt said.

Police have stepped up patrols of the area to calm tensions between the groups.
