WA Police have charged two 18-year-olds and a 17-year-old boy over a brutal case of animal cruelty that was filmed on social media app snapchat.
The video shows two men hitting the kangaroo with a wooden plank several times in Kalamunda last month.

The man behind the camera claims his friends were trying to put the animal out of its suffering after it was hit by their ute.
He denies the group was laughing.

If convicted, the teens face a maximum penalty of five years jail or a $50,000 fine.
