Woman's body found in Perth home

A Perth family have been left "shattered" after finding their sister dead inside her Nollamarra home on Saturday night.

The murder probe is now underway over the death of Jessica Bairnsfather-Scott, 32.

"There is no known ongoing risk to the public at this stage," WA Police said in a statement.

They've released no more information on the woman's death, but the family say they received a confusing text from her phone earlier in the day, picturing a car crash.

"Her husband was saying they were both fine but he wouldn't let us speak to my sister and we knew something was up and kept on trying to call," her sister Alison Gibson said.

"We didn't believe him and came here but we couldn't get in the front door because it was deadbolted.

"Gerard jumped on the roof and got inside and found her."

Neighbours say they heard screaming coming from the property on Friday night but no one called the police.

The healthcare worker has been described by her family as really loved and the life of the party.

"She was always smiling, she always made everyone happy around her. She was really kind, the life of the party," Ms Gibson said.

"We are a really close family."

The family camped out outside Ms Bairnsfather-Scott's home for 16 hours today, demanding answers over her death.

Police were questioning a man known to the woman on Sunday night but no arrests have yet been made.
