Man charged after pregnant woman dies in crash
A Perth man has been charged over a crash that killed a heavily pregnant woman and her unborn child, and seriously injured two others.
The 23-year-old was charged with offences including aggravated dangerous driving causing death after his Ford Falcon struck a Nissan Skyline, splitting the car in two, at the intersection of the Great Eastern Highway and Homestead Road in Mahogany Creek on Friday.
He will appear in Midland Magistrates Court on June 17.

Maddie Morgan, 21, was a passenger in the Skyline and was rushed to Midland Hospital with critical injuries, where she and her baby died.
Her boyfriend Jack Bryant, 23, received life-threatening head and chest injuries and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital.
The Ford Falcon driver and his 19-year-old passenger were also taken to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries, while another teenage passenger was uninjured.

Police investigations continue.
Mr Bryant and Ms Morgan were expecting their first child in less than three weeks.
The couple's friends attended the crash scene on Saturday and were in disbelief.
"He was happy to be a dad and happy to be starting this new stage in his life," one told 9News.
"To just take it away like that, it's not even fair."
