Children among the injured in crash involving Woolies truck and 'stolen' ute

A family car has crashed in Perth’s south, becoming wedged under a Woolworths truck, injuring at least eight people.

Two children are among those injured in the smash on the Leach Highway at the Bungaree road intersection in Wilson at 4pm.

They’ve been rushed to Perth’s Children’s hospital under the highest priority.

Six adults have also been taken to hospital.

A ute, believed to have been stolen, was at the centre of the crash that also involved a minivan and the Woolies truck.

The driver of the ute is on the run.
