Peppa Pig teams up with Cancer Council

Peppa Pig has been recruited to use her celebrity status to encourage Australian kids to be active and slip, slop, slap.
The popular pig has been unveiled as Cancer Council Australia's latest ambassador.
CCA acting CEO, Catherine Sullivan says the porcine TV star has a major influence on the young children who watch her show.

"Lifestyles learnt in childhood can affect kids later in life, especially in cancers linked to sun exposure and obesity," she said.
