Man killed by car after getting off bus on Logan Road, Mount Gravatt

A pedestrian has died after being struck by a car on Logan Road in Mt Gravatt, in Brisbane's south-east.

Police believe the man had got off a bus and was hit by a vehicle as he was crossing the road. 

He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Logan Road has been closed southbound from Nursery Road and is expected remain closed for some time, police said.

Drivers have been urged to avoid the area.

A police investigation is underway.
